# SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal public enums

This library declares 5 public enums: 2 in `Print\clsLetterRequest.vb` governing letter generation, and 3 further status-discriminator enums in the `LegalNet\` area governing assignment, appeal, and schedule state.

## LetterRecipient
`Public Enum LetterRecipient` — declared in `Print\clsLetterRequest.vb`.

Discriminates whether a generated legal letter targets the injured worker's main attorney/address or an alternate recipient.

| Member | Purpose |
| --- | --- |
| `Main` | The primary/main recipient address for the letter.* |
| `Alternate` | The alternate recipient address, used when `GetReportXmlNewFormat` determines `WorkerHasAttorney`.* |

## LetterTypeEnum
`Public Enum LetterTypeEnum` — declared in `Print\clsLetterRequest.vb`.

Discriminates the legal-letter template/category, driving which enrichment branch `PostFill` executes.

| Member | Purpose |
| --- | --- |
| `RREQ` | Record request letter; loads the worker attorney.* |
| `MAIL` | General mail letter; loads the worker attorney.* |
| `RMAIL` | Record mail letter; loads the worker attorney.* |
| `DEFLT` | Default letter type; loads the policy address and forces printed date to today.* |
| `RDISC` | Record disclosure letter; loads the worker attorney, the SAIF attorney, forces printed date, and loads the policy address.* |
| `POLCY` | Policy letter; loads the policy address.* |

## Assignmentappealschedule status enums
Three further domain enums exist in the `LegalNet\` folder providing status discriminators for the attorney-assignment batch, appeal lifecycle, and schedule lifecycle (e.g., schedule status defaulting to `SET` on `Create()`, assignment result codes such as `CA`/`CAC`). The Phase 1 analysis did not enumerate these three types by exact name/member list; the result codes `CA` and `CAC` observed in `clsAssignmentProcess.vb` and the schedule status `SET` observed in `clsLegalSchedule.vb` are documented in [operations-processes.md](../../operations-processes.md), but the underlying enum type names and full member sets should be confirmed directly against `LegalNet\clsAssignmentProcess.vb`, `LegalNet\clsAppeal.vb`, and `LegalNet\clsLegalSchedule.vb` if exhaustive enum documentation is required.**
